It was produced from\u00a0<em>1955 until 1961<\/em>. The serial numbers of the model range from 340007 through 370242.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>R26<\/strong> has a higher compression engine giving a modest power gain to\u00a0<em>15 BHP<\/em>, sufficient to propel the bike up to a quoted top speed of\u00a0<em>75 MPH<\/em>. It&#8217;s still no road burner, but very delightful to ride.<\/p>\n<p>Black 1959\u00a0<strong>BMW R26<\/strong> <em>Vintage Motorcycle<\/em>.<br \/>\nThis motorcycle came for a\u00a0<em>Private Estate Sale<\/em> and has been in storage since\u00a0<strong>1986<\/strong>. This is a great collector Motorcycle in exceptional\u00a0<em>original condition<\/em>. The engine is a single cylinder\u00a0<strong>250cc<\/strong> with a 4 speed transmission. Please note that this Motorcycle has not been started in over 18 years and needs some mechanical attention. An extremely rare Motorcycle from\u00a0<strong>BMW<\/strong>, the\u00a0<em>R26 250cc<\/em> swing-arm single cylinder.
