Although not a muscle car by definition, the <strong>Corvette <\/strong>used muscle car powertrains and has represented American performance for almost fifty years.<\/p>\n<p>After a year&#8217;s absence, the <strong>Stingray<\/strong> name re\u00adappeared on the front fenders. Front and rear disc\u00a0brakes, headlight washers, center console, wheel trim rings, carpeting, and all-vinyl upholstery\u00a0were now standard. This was the first time the <strong>coupe<\/strong> outsold the <strong>convertible<\/strong>, and would continue\u00a0to do so in all subsequent years.<\/p>\n<p>The appearance changes were again minimal for 1972. The 1972 Corvette was the last to feature front and rear\u00a0chrome bumpers, a bright &#8220;egg crate&#8221; grill, side fender grills and the removable rear window.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Third Generation <em>Stingray<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fitted to this car; a <strong>NUMBERS MATCHING<\/strong> <em>350 CI, 200<\/em> HP V-8 engine.\u00a0The transmission is the factory optional Close Ratio <strong>4-Speed Manual<\/strong> Transmission. The exterior is\u00a0<strong>Classic White<\/strong> with a <strong>Saddle leather<\/strong> interior in great condition. Factory options include\u00a0<em>Tilt-Telescopic Steering Column, Pwr. Steering, Pwr. Brakes, Rear Rack and Air Conditioning<\/em>.\u00a0Some recent mechanical work and a strong powertrain. Nice chrome, new carpeting and a good set of\u00a0tires on Ralley Wheels. A Solid example both mechanically and aesthetically. A great American Classic\u00a0Muscle Car. This car would be a great addition to any collection.
