{"id":6427,"date":"2010-11-22T18:33:05","date_gmt":"2010-11-22T18:33:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gentrylane.com\/s\/?p=6427"},"modified":"2010-11-22T18:33:05","modified_gmt":"2010-11-22T18:33:05","slug":"1970-dodge-super-bee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gentrylane.ca\/s\/domestic-inventory\/sold-domestic\/1970-dodge-super-bee","title":{"rendered":"1970 Dodge Super Bee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Super <em>Bee<\/em><\/strong> was a limited-production muscle car from <strong>Chrysler&#8217;s Dodge<\/strong> division produced\u00a0from 1968 through 1971.<\/p>\n<p>GM divisions had been doing it for years, but it wasn&#8217;t until 1968 that the two <strong>MOPAR <\/strong>divisions, <strong>Dodge<\/strong> and <strong>Plymouth<\/strong>, began to engage in a bit of sibling rivalry. The result\u00a0was the <strong>Dodge Super Bee<\/strong>, a direct competitor to Plymouth&#8217;s Road Runner.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Super <em>Bee<\/em><\/strong> was restyled for 1970. To differentiate it from the Coronet that it was\u00a0based on, the <strong>Super <em>Bee<\/em><\/strong> did not get the dummy rear fender scoops as standard equipment.\u00a0It also had horizontally divided (rather than individually segmented) taillamps.<\/p>\n<p>High quality, correct restoration 1970 <strong>Dodge <em>Super Bee<\/em><\/strong> 2 Door Hardtop.\u00a0Fitted to this car; a <strong>NUMBERS MATCHING<\/strong> <em>440 Six-Pack<\/em> with <strong>RAMCHARGER<\/strong>.\u00a0The transmission is the factory A727 <strong>Torqueflite<\/strong> Automatic Column shift.
