However, it was based on the upcoming redesigned\u00a0<em>&#8217;68 Nova<\/em> and therefore more robust than a comparable <em>&#8217;67 Nova<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The basic engineering of the <strong>Camaro<\/strong> was a unibody structure from the windshield and\u00a0firewall back, with a separate steel rail subframe for everything up front. Double A-arms\u00a0made up the independent front suspension while the solid rear axle was suspended by\u00a0semi-elliptical leaf springs.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Rally Sport<\/strong> <em>(RS)<\/em> appearance package brought deluxe interior trim and hidden headlights\u00a0with it, and the high-performance <strong>Super Sport<\/strong> <em>(SS)<\/em> package had its own distinct decoration\u00a0(including a domed hood with simulated vents, <em>&#8220;bumble bee&#8221;<\/em> stripes encircling the nose and\u00a0the iconic SS badges), a heavy-duty suspension and larger <em>D70-series<\/em> tires on 14-inch wheels.<\/p>\n<p>Beautiful <em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">&#8220;Hugger Orange&#8221;<\/span><\/em> 1969 Camaro RS SS Copo Clone 454 Convertible.\u00a0This 1969 <strong>Camaro RS SS<\/strong> Convertible is currently equipped with a <strong>454 CI<\/strong> of all-iron\u00a0big-block producing 360 horsepower, backed by an automatic transmission. The exterior is\u00a0<em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Hugger Orange<\/span><\/em> with a black vinyl interior and almost new white convertible top. Many new parts including,\u00a0the installation of <em>power steering<\/em>, exhaust headers, front power disc brakes, seat covers, dash pad, front\u00a0tires, flywheel\/starter and new black soft top boot.
