Nash’s<\/strong> first car came in 1918, designed by Erik Wahlberg<\/strong>, whom Nash had hired away from the Oakland car division of GM<\/em>. It was a very handsome and well-received medium-priced car. In 1918, the four-wheel-drive Nash Quad truck was introduced and Nash<\/strong> became the world’s largest truck maker.<\/p>\n

Nash<\/strong> had been one of the premier names in automobiles, with high powered luxury models that were near the top of a class of cars that included the likes of Packard<\/strong>, Pierce-Arrow<\/strong>, Studebaker<\/strong> and Duesenberg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 1957 Nash Ambassador<\/em><\/strong><\/em> and Hudson Hornet lost their Packard engine and transmission, but gained a larger version of the new AMC V8<\/strong>. This had an inch larger bore than the 250 for a displacement of 327<\/strong> cubic inches.<\/p>\n

Luxurious Art Deco<\/em> 1957 Nash<\/em> Ambassador<\/strong> Custom Sedan. This example is finished in a gorgeous two-tone Pink & White<\/em>, with a matching <\/em> vinyl interior. The engine is a 327 cu in<\/strong><\/em> V-8 with factory Column Shift transmission<\/em>. Overall the car runs and drives extremely well. A timeless classic with a great investment value. A real enthusiasts<\/em> car.<\/p>\n
