Though the Jaguar<\/em><\/strong><\/em> brand was first used in 1945<\/em>, its factory had been\u00a0founded long before. In 1922<\/em>, William Lyons<\/strong> and William Walmsley<\/strong> laid\u00a0the foundation of the firm in Blackpool, England<\/em> with the name of\u00a0Swallow Coachbuilding Co.<\/strong> Later Changed to SS cars Ltd<\/em><\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0After World War II<\/em><\/strong><\/em> the company name SS Cars Ltd.<\/em> was changed into\u00a0Jaguar Cars Ltd.<\/strong> It was the birth of the now famous and popular make of\u00a0Jaguar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inside the MK X<\/em><\/strong><\/em> was traditional Jaguar luxury<\/em> with leather seating, and\u00a0walnut wood. The dash was the new “corporate”<\/em><\/strong><\/em> design of the 1960’s that\u00a0had originated with the\u00a0K II in 1959<\/em>, but with much more extensive use\u00a0of wood and veneer. Split bench front seats were used, and the rear seats\u00a0had individual picnic tables that folded down from the back of the front\u00a0seats.<\/p>\n

The MK X<\/em><\/strong><\/em> ‘s sleek look retained some of the styling cues of the “big” Jaguars<\/em>.\u00a0For the first time on a Jaguar<\/strong> a 4 headlight treatment was used and the\u00a0traditional Jaguar <\/strong>orn grilles were retained.<\/p>\n

This is one delightful all Original<\/strong><\/em> British Classic. <\/strong><\/em><\/strong>This Numbers Matching<\/em>,\u00a0“Big Cat”<\/strong> is an excellent example of Jaguar Luxury<\/em> and Style<\/em>. Under the hood sits <\/em>a 3781cc 6 cyl twin ohc Triple SU 2 inch HD8 Carb. engine producing 255\/265\u00a0bhp @ 5200 rpm. The brakes are Four wheel discs, rear discs are inboard W\/ Vacuum servo assist.\u00a0Original Blue Leather<\/em> Patina interior with a Diamond Blue<\/em> One Re-paint exterior.\u00a0The undercarriage and engine compartment are extremely solid and in exceptional condition.<\/p>\n

A true Original British Classic<\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n
