Today\u2019s Caterham Super 7 cars, with their blend of traditional styling and ultramodern components, trace their lineage to an original 1950s-era Colin Chapman design \u2013 The iconic LOTUS 7. Born in London in 1928, Chapman studied structural engineering, earned his pilot\u2019s wings with the Royal Air Force, and went on to become one of the great innovators in motorsports design.<\/p>\n

After its birth in 1957, the Lotus 7 continued to be a widely popular sportscar for race and hobby drivers. The Lotus 7\u2019s evolution continued when, in 1973, Caterham Cars obtained the manufacturing rights from Lotus. 7\u2019s from then on were dubbed the Caterham \u201cSuper 7\u2033 \u2013 an apt name, as it was becoming clear that the car\u2019s fundamental design was nearly impossible to improve.<\/p>\n

This is a rare 1989 Caterham Super 7 RHD with only 2,000 km, manual transmission. The exterior is Black and the the interior is in great condition with black leather seats and blue racing belts. Comes complete with side windows and full black vinyl soft top. It\u2019s a pleasure taking it out on the open road and hitting the winding roads.<\/p>\n
