The Pontiac Trans Am<\/em><\/strong> production began in 1969 and only a few hundred were sold that year. As the years progressed, the muscle car era and the days of the high-horsepower engine greatly digressed. Emission regulations, increase in oil prices, and increases in safety policy brought this glorious era to its knees. During this time, the popularity of the Trans Am steadily increased, thanks in-part to its relatively powerful engine, good handling, and styling.<\/p>\n

The Trans Am was updated for 1976 to capitalize on this ever growing popularity. A new front end featured parking lamps below the front bumper, trimmed front spoiler, and colour-matched front bumper. This was the last year of round headlamps for the Trans Am. The interior was also redesigned, featuring new seats and richer materials.<\/p>\n

This 1976 Pontiac Trans Am is in great condition with only 67,000 original miles<\/strong>. Firethorn Red exterior with White interior. A rust free vehicle that was stored indoors, and has only been repainted once since new. Equipped with the 6.6 litre 400 V8 and close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission. Includes collection of original documents, including manuals, bill of sale, and build sheet<\/strong>. This Trans Am has just been certified including full brake service.<\/p>\n
