This 1967 Triumph 2000 Mk1 was converted into a race car under previous ownership, and it was purchased by the seller in the early 2010s. It was subsequently relocated from the US to Canada, where the seller has since campaigned it in Vintage Racing Club of British Columbia (VRC) and Canadian Association of Car Clubs (CACC) events. The seller retrofitted a 2.5-liter Triumph TR6 inline-six equipped with dual Zenith Stromberg carburetors, an Accusump system, and a side-exit exhaust system, while shifting is via a four-speed manual transmission and a Toyota-sourced rear end. Finished in a red and white number 65 livery, the car rides on Panasport-style 15″ wheels and is further equipped with front disc brakes and Koni rear shocks.
